About me

For the past two years I have copy-edited English texts and overseen all aspects of putting together Ensemble, the bilingual magazine of the Canadian Association for Music Therapy. I have also copy-edited articles for the Canadian Journal of Music Therapy.

From 2006 to 2010 I edited Sunstream, a local arts and entertainment magazine. In addition to copy editing, I also did stylistic and substantive editing, fact checking, and rewriting.

As a freelancer I have edited subjects as diverse as medical procedures and Buddhist philosophy.

My training includes courses through SFU Harbour Centre and the Editors' Association of Canada as well as ongoing mentoring by Betty Keller, an award-winning writer and editor.
