About me

I have edited for Sunstream, a local arts and entertainment magazine, since August 2006. While my title is copy editor, I do much more, including stylistic and substantive editing, fact checking, and rewriting. I also edit for the Canadian Association for Music Therapy – I am editor of the newsletter and I copy edit for the journal. My freelance work has included subjects as diverse as medical procedures and Buddhist philosophy.

My training includes courses through SFU Harbour Centre and the Editors’ Association of Canada as well as ongoing mentoring by Betty Keller, an award-winning writer and editor.
